Customer Success Manager

As a Customer Success Manager at Neptune, you will build close, long-term client relationships and support our customers as they transition from sales prospects to active users of Neptune.ai. Your goal will be to become an expert user of our product and ensure a successful customer handoff from our Account Executives (@Chaz) by providing our users with a great onboarding experience and high-level support.

Daily you’ll cooperate with our CEO, @Piotr, Head of Customer Success, @Paulina, and Product, Sales, DevRel, and Support teams.

 

We are a VC-backed startup building a product for Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists in the exciting MLOps (Machine Learning Operationalization) area. We design Neptune to be extensible, flexible, and lightweight to ensure it fits any workflow and keeps up with this fast-paced field.

 

In this role, you will:

  • ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers;
  • work as an advisor to our customers and discuss their problems and needs while sharing your expertise about the product;
  • maintain a relationship with our users – keep them informed on the product’s development and make sure they’re using it to its full potential; 
  • gather feedback, testimonials, and user stories;
  • take ownership over customers’ upsell and renewal opportunities.

 

Our requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Success & Sales roles;
  • 2+ years of experience as Customer Success Manager for a SaaS B2B product
  • Previous experience working with software products for a technical audience (software engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, etc.);
  • Proactiveness, strong desire to learn and grow, out-of-the-box approach to given tasks;
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills;
  • Proficiency in English – spoken and written;
  • Experience working with CRMs, e.g., Hubspot, user communication automation tools, like Intercom or Mailchimp, and user analytics tools, e.g., Mixpanel, Heap;
  • Basic scripting/coding skills, e.g., ability to write SQL queries or Python scripts;

 

Nice to have:

  • Startup experience;
  • Experience in working with upper management (VPs or C-level executives);
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning/Data Science.
  • Technical background, e.g., BSc in Math, Computer Science or Physics, programming courses, etc.
