Sales Development Representative

At Neptune, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team

As SDR at Neptune, you will be responsible for identifying prospects and providing them with the most immediate and high-quality first interaction with Neptune. You will qualify companies where Neptune can bring value and guide them to the trial.
Neptune is used by machine learning and data science experts to save time and effort when building machine learning models. This crowd is technical and appreciates when you help them solve their problem efficiently, cutting all the unnecessary b**s*** and fancy phrases.

In this role, you will need to:

  • Effectively navigate and manage inbound lead flow as well as proactively reach out to prospects
  • Conduct consultative pre-qualification and high-level discovery conversations
  • Help remove internal barriers for introducing the tool in the team for our users, recommend best practices, and share our customer use cases
  • Identify and deliver the best next steps or resources to assist customers and leads
  • Set up high-quality appointments with the appropriate team members
  • Work to have a variety of touches (call, chat, email, social, etc.) on all leads
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Hubspot
  • Meet or exceed SDR sourced New Trials volume targets


You should have:

  • +3 year of experience in sales prospecting position (preferably inbound sales)
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience working in the startup
  • Strong technical aptitude to help our users succeed with Neptune
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Proficiency in using LinkedIn
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Min. Bachelor’s degree


It’s also great if you have:

  • Experience in high-growth, SaaS company
  • Experience in tech industry
  • Outbound prospecting experience
  • Experience in conducting product demos
  • Proficiency in German or Russian (written and spoken) is a plus
